FUTUREPUFFER pop-up
An amazing 10-day pop-up event at the vegan and zero-waste Nono Shop in Seoul
October 2023
FUTUREFEAR’s very first pop-up event in support of the crowdfunding campaign for the FUTUREPUFFER was held at Nono Shop in Seoul from September 22–October 1, 2023. During the event at the vegan café and zero-waste hotspot, customers were able to try on the puffer jackets before placing orders on Tumblbug and take home the brand’s SMILECAP on the day.
The owner organised multiple events during the pop-up period: the vegan café Bigomi was there selling special 송편-shaped madeleines just in time for Chuseok and also gave a presentation about her book, 소박한 비건; there was a vegan potluck dinner where foreign residents and Korean alike came to eat and celebrate, also in the name of Chuseok, and FUTUREFEAR gave their first brand presentation after the meal; lastly there was a day-long listening party where some of the city’s best DJs came down to take charge of the chill, early autumn atmosphere at the shop.
Over the 10-day pop-up, there was of course a superb selection of baked goods from Clem who operates the in-house café and all the staff were beyond friendly and welcoming! This was the perfect place to kick off the FUTUREPUFFER journey and FUTUREFEAR are so grateful to have had this opportunity to meet the many wonderful people of Seoul who stopped by.
