Have you been down to visit Bigomi and Baegomi in Mangwon-dong? Bigomi cafe has a beautiful selection of baked Korean goods including hudu-gwaja, red bean buns (in the shape of a bear!) and salted bread – and they all just happen to be vegan! For Christmas they also have a delicious fruit stollen in the shape of Korean songpyong. Everything is adorable with a modern take on tradition at Bigomi cafe!

For the drinks menu, you can try the signature Bigomi latte with peanut cream and oat milk and the Baegomi latte with maple syrup and oat milk, which goes just perfectly with their famous biscotti. Bigomi is not just a vegan baker: they are also a talented illustrator with a popular Instagram page documenting their life and promoting various vegan businesses in Korea. Using the adorable Bigomi bear character, this year they also published a charmingly illustrated book guiding readers on how to enjoy a vegan lifestyle and the benefits this can have for the planet!

Bigomi and Baegomi also host various events at their cafe including the drip coffee class with Baegomi and a meeting group for vegan business owners to gather and support each other. Stop by and enjoy their unique bakery, drinks and characters for yourself at Bigomi cafe in Mangwon-dong, Seoul.

Bigomi cafe is open Wednesday–Monday 12:00–19:00. Instagram @bgomi_cafe
